Flu Vaccine: A Matter of Life or Death?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says everyone age 6 months and older should get an annual flu vaccine. But, for people with epilepsy, it’s especially important.

Most people who get the flu have just mild illness and can recover in less than two weeks. However, some people, like those with epilepsy, are more likely to suffer flu-related complications if they get sick from influenza.
