My Gran Mal seizures seem to be controlled with my meds but partial seizures occur whenever I'm stressed. My "partials" are a total confusion state, not understanding whats being said to me (like a different language being spoken) and not being able to speak. They only last about a minute or two but shure can embarass the hell out of me.Now if I know I might be in "a situation" like speaking to a crowd,I take a Xanax (used for anxiety,etc.).That usually helps.

some of her partial seizure she is conscious during them but I can't exactly answer you about if she is confused and disoriented because her seizures have left her with brain damage and she is non-verbal severely disabled and doesn't understand what is happening.
